Over the last decade, I've photographed 246 hummingbird species, about 67% of all known species, across the Americas, from Mexico’s cloud forests to Brazil’s Amazon lowlands to Chile’s Atacama deserts, Colombia’s high Andes, and Argentina’s remote Patagonian valleys. Each expedition has revealed both beauty and urgency. Species most people will never see except through my lens.

That's why my focus is on the 58 hummingbird species on the IUCN Red List. I've reached 28 so far. Each expedition becomes one small story: one bird, one place, the people who live alongside it, highlighting conservation efforts through photography.
