Juan Fernández Firecrown Glass Cutting Board with Juan Bueno Tree

Bring one of the world's most extraordinary island hummingbirds into your kitchen with this Juan Fernández Firecrown glass cutting board. The design begins with my original photograph of the endangered Juan Fernández Firecrown and places the bird among flowers of the Juan Bueno tree (Rhaphithamnus venustus), a plant native to the Juan Fernández Islands.

Printed live-edge borders inspired by Juan Bueno bark frame the top and bottom of the design. Using the same island tree for both the flowers and bark creates a direct connection between the hummingbird and the unique habitat found within its territory. Every element was selected to tell a more complete story of this rare species and the ecosystem it depends on.

Printed in vivid color on durable tempered glass, the cutting board protects your work surface while adding original hummingbird art to your kitchen. It also makes a meaningful gift for bird lovers, home cooks, conservation supporters, and anyone drawn to nature-inspired design.
