Bring a dynamic moment from the tropical forest into your home with this striking framed canvas print. A Planalto Hermit hovers beside vivid yellow and coral flowers, its curved bill and long white-tipped tail streamers captured against a softly layered natural background.

The bird’s swept-back wings and suspended feeding pose highlight the speed, precision, and distinctive shape of this long-tailed hummingbird. Printed on matte-coated canvas with vivid, fade-resistant inks, the photograph retains its fine feather detail and natural color without excessive glare.

A deep black frame creates a clean, gallery-style presentation with a subtle shadowbox effect that adds dimension while keeping the focus on the artwork. This piece works beautifully in a living room, bedroom, office, entryway, reading area, or any space inspired by hummingbirds and the natural world.

I met Anthony in Sedona, when we sat together at dinner, during the International Hummingbird Festival, in 2025. I am fascinated by these phenomenal creatures because, as a retired military helicopter pilot, I claim that hummingbirds are the only creatures on earth who can hover better than me. (I am imagining that any devoted naturalist may disprove this theory.) Anthony fascinates me almost as much as the hummingbird. His passion is unmatched in the worlds of conservation and the naturalist. Has there ever been such a devoted human seeking the visual capture of the hundreds of members of an entire species on earth?? I think not! Anthony Lujan is The Supreme Schlepper! No one even comes close!
